Birth T-Shirt Graphics
Birth Clothing Company is a streetwear clothing brand created by Sean Daugherty. Sean’s mission was to create a brand that combines urban esthetics with artwork from local artist. To create the artwork for this line of t-shirts I really wanted to show a balance between elegance and flare. Using my own photography for the floral background and creating custom typography I was able to control the flow and feel of each design while still having a unified format for each shirt.
When creating the typography for these designs I really wanted to show movement but still make sure the type had enough contrast from the elegant look of the roses.
I created a type that was a mix of script and handwritten font. Making sure all the letters connected created movement and the differing heights added some flare that made it stand out against the background.
